Luke Fowler (b. 1978) is an artist, filmmaker and musician based in Glasgow.[1] He studied printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design [2] in Dundee. His documentary films have explored counter cultural figures including Scottish psychiatrist R. D. Laing[3] and English composer Cornelius Cardew[4]
Fowler won the inaugural Derek Jarman Award n 2008.[5]
In 2009, he had an exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery.[6] He has exposed in 2010 in Rencontres d'Arles festival (France). In 2010, Fowler was awarded a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts through their Grants to Artists program.[7]
